"A French-speaking Episcopal congregation, open to all who
wish to worship and pray in the French language or who simply enjoy French life and
culture. Services in French, with many of the materials translated into English.
"Wednesday evenings, a Bible study group meets at 6:00 pm in
the church. Sundays services begins at 11:15 am, and free French lessons are offered at
10:00 am. There are two groups, one of which is for beginners, and the other focusing more
on conversation."

Library (walk east from the 116th Street and Broadway subway stop). We recommend their
free French conversation 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays (September - May, while Columbia
University is in session). Usually includes a native speaker. The Maison has other
cultural events and lectures, some in French. $35 annual membership required for ongoing
participation.
