Is
your
heart bigger than your
stomach?
A special event Saturday, March 21, 2009 - 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm This festive dinner is our special occasion to meet friends who care about the world. You can savor a traditional Brazilian dish and learn about the most achievable program to help end extreme poverty.
Feijoada is made of black beans and several choice cuts of meat served with rice and delicious side dishes. We will make it the healthier way with less calories, what we call "light feijoada" in Brazil. We will also serve homemade caipirinhas, a national drink made with fresh tropical fruits (virgin or with alcohol). Either way is very delicious, and we are sure you will enjoy. If you are kosher or vegetarian, we will serve you a hearty vegetarian black bean stew. Thanks to you and others...
