Nature is a playground for the youngest people on Earth - the children. In turn, children are finding new ways to improve nature as well as having fun with it. Across the world there are many programs available for children to learn about protecting our natural habitat. Some kids are even looking toward the web to meet like-minded people.
Teaching children early about environmental issues helps them gain knowledge about maintaining the earths resources. Some kids already do what they can by planting trees, rebuilding a neighborhood playground or painting. Art, to many children, are a way to express emotions or messages. For those who are very young, they can use the arts as a tool to show off their creativity and expand their minds and learn how to generate and spread new, helpful ideas. With a new generation embracing the arts and environmental issues, there is always hope for the future. Children and adults can work together to create more programs to bring about change in our hearts and in society. You, your class, school or city can participate, too. Please see Our World/Our Future - Youth for ChangeSM Tell us about your programs; post your artwork on our website.
